Hello from Pioneer Kayaking!

In January 2009, after a particularly spectacular paddle out at Cape Woolamai, Stewart thought that it would be fantastic to be able to share with others the beauty of Phillip Island from the water. Well, one and a half years later and that aspiration became a reality.

Pioneer Kayaking is a fun and professional family run company that was born from a great passion for sea kayaking, the natural environment, and a desire to share these experiences with others.

During term time, Stewart is a PE and Outdoor Education teacher at Newhaven College on Phillip Island where he and his family have lived for the last 14 years. Prior to that Stewart was living and working as a PE teacher in Aberdeen, Scotland for 6 years where he was able to combine his passion of travel, the outdoors and wearing kilts! An experienced kayaker, adventurer and all round good guy, Stewart is sure to make your experience with Pioneer Kayaking one to remember…
